01Rider Instructions

To help ensure your safety, please read this manual carefully before riding and make sure you always follow the instructions below:

  1. Understand all information in this manual, including safety precautions and warnings regarding hazardous situations.
  2. Understand the emergency procedures for operating the Moratti Scooter.
  3. Understand all warning labels attached to the Moratti Scooter.
  4. Do not disassemble the scooter or any of its parts. Please contact the Moratti call center for repair services or replacement needs.
  5. Keep this manual in a safe place. All scooter parameters have been confirmed to meet national standards before leaving the factory.
  6. Obey all traffic laws and road signs in accordance with regulations governing passenger and goods transportation. Always ensure road conditions and scooter conditions are safe to avoid dangerous situations.
  7. Avoid riding in severe weather such as storms or strong winds. In rainy conditions, reduce speed as braking distance will be longer.
  8. Avoid using the high beam when lighting conditions are already sufficient. Continuous use of the high beam may disturb the vision of oncoming drivers and pedestrians, affecting road safety.
  9. Turn off the scooter and keep the FOB key safely after use. Do not allow children to play around the scooter to avoid unwanted incidents.
  10. Wear proper safety equipment such as an SNI-certified helmet and other protective gear if needed, such as gloves and a mask.
  11. The maximum speed of this scooter is 60 km/h. Do not exceed this speed, as it may endanger both the rider and other road users.

02Safety Instructions

To help ensure your safety and the safety of others, please pay attention to the following:

  1. Do not lend your Moratti Scooter to anyone who is unable to operate it properly, to prevent injury.
  2. Always comply with all applicable laws and regulations while riding on public roads.
  3. Do not ride while under the influence of medication that may affect your ability to ride, while intoxicated, or when you are not fit/healthy.
  4. Make sure to ride only on flat and even roads for both front wheels to reduce the risk of accidents.

04Handlebar Controls

Get to know every button on the right and left handlebar before you start riding.

Right Handle Bar

Engine Stop / Standby Button

Used to turn off the engine or place the scooter in standby mode.

Light Switch Button

Used to turn on the parking lights and the main headlights.

Engine Start Button

Used to start the engine.

Left Handle Bar

Low Beam / High Beam Switch

Used to switch between low beam and high beam headlights.

Left / Right Turn Signal Switch

Used to activate the left or right turn signals.

Horn Button

Used to sound the horn.

Hazard Light Switch

Used to activate both turn signals at the same time for emergency warning.

Notes for using reverse transmission:

  1. The scooter must come to a complete stop before switching between forward/reverse.
  2. Do not change gear while opening the throttle.
  3. Reverse is only for parking or slow maneuvering.

06LED Display Icons Description

The digital dashboard shows several vehicle status icons. Here is what each one means:

Left Turn Signal

Blinks when the left turn signal is activated.

Check Engine (MIL)

Indicates an engine or emission system fault.

High Beam

Illuminates when the high beam is on.

ABS

ABS Warning

On if ABS is active or if there is an ABS system issue.

N

Neutral Indicator

Lights up when the transmission is in neutral.

Right Turn Signal

Blinks when the right turn signal is activated.

Position Lights

On when the position or parking lights are on.

T

Traction Control

Indicates traction control is active or has a fault.

Fuel Level Warning

Indicator for low fuel level. Refuel soon.

Battery Warning

Alerts for charging system or battery issues.

Connection Indicator

Shows connectivity status (e.g. to mobile app or system).

Auto Start/Stop

Shows Auto Start/Stop system status (active/available).

Clock

Displays the current time.

ODO/TRIP

Odometer or trip meter reading (miles or km).

07Knob Information

The ignition knob controls electrical power, the handlebar lock, and access to the seat and fuel tank.

POWER

Turns the electrical power on or off (ignition). ON to start the vehicle, OFF to turn it off.

LOCK

Locks the handlebar. Press (PUSH) then turn the knob to the LOCK position.

I (ON)

Ignition ON position. Electrical power is active, the vehicle is ready to start.

SEAT FUEL

Indicates access to the SEAT and FUEL functions via the buttons on the right.

O (OFF)

Ignition OFF position. All electrical systems are off.

PUSH

Press to release the handlebar lock or move the knob to the next position.

FUEL

Press the FUEL button to open the fuel tank cap.

SEAT

Press the SEAT button to open the seat.

08How to Start the Engine

Press the lock button on the remote.

After pressing the lock button on the remote, the knob will light up. Then turn the knob switch to position I (ON).

Hold the hand brake lever, then press the starter button. The scooter will start and be ready to use.

09Safety Tips

  1. Make sure the speed does not exceed 50 km/h.
  2. Always check the mirrors so you can make room for other vehicles that want to overtake, especially cars.
  3. Always keep a safe distance from other vehicles.
  4. Avoid uneven roads, and make sure you always stay on paved roads.
  5. If you must pass through rocky or uneven roads, reduce your speed and be extra careful.
  6. Do not stand on the scooter while it is moving.

10USB Charger

Our scooter is equipped with a USB charger and phone holder.

Make sure that if you want to operate both devices, the scooter is already stopped.

Characteristics of the Moratti Trike Scooter

  • The steering feels heavier compared to a regular motorcycle.
  • Do not make sharp turns at high speed.
  • Always make U-turns slowly.
